These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VoiceScribe (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

2. The Service

The Service converts audio and video you provide into text transcripts using AI models. We strive for high accuracy but do not guarantee that transcripts will be error-free, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.

3. Credits, Plans & Billing

• Use of the Service consumes credits. Credits may be purchased outright or included with a plan.
• Prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change with notice for future purchases.
• Unless stated otherwise, credits and subscriptions are billed in advance and are subject to our Refund Policy.
• You authorize us and our payment providers to charge your selected payment method for amounts you incur.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to process, or that infringes any third party's rights.
• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

5. Your Content

You retain all ownership rights in the content you upload and the transcripts generated from it. You grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you. You are solely responsible for your content and for complying with applicable laws when uploading it.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or proprietary materials.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for AI inference, hosting, and payments. Your use may also be subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
